Will this post screw into the base. If so ,are threads standard

Thank you for your message.
The post refills are only compatible with the Wolf and Tiger scratching post. This consists of a base and a post. The refills go over the post. As you can see from the images there is a hole down the middle of the refills. This is so the refill can slot over the post. There is no screwing involved.
