Sticks are individually packed which keeps them fresh. A whole stick is perfect for a daily treat. My cat has a delicate stomach so I have to limit them to half a stick daily as they are rich. Easy to do as sticks are marked & can be broken into portions. Have to be careful as I'm feeding treats, offering a portion & my little tinker run off with the majority of the stick
