I volunteer for a stray dog rescue in Sarajevo Bosnia and we are looking at a cheaper alternative for flea treatments. If we were to mix garlic powder into our daily feeds what quantities would we be looking at per dog as a guide ?
This is not fully effective, but there are certainly claims that it can work. Any dose has not been scientifically determined, but the equivalent of one clove of garlic per day for a medium sized dog can be used. Note that very high doses of garlic are toxic to dogs.
