I was struggling to get my adopted 8-yr old Jack Russell to chew anything, but she's in love with this sparkly stick. She'll sit quietly and chew it but also char it when I throw it. No other toy holds her attention as well. Obv, squeaker broke after first day, but it helped get her interested to start with.
