The difference they have made

We have seen such a difference with our 11yr old, best thing we have done, as much more active. An hour before food, happy to take it too - odd as he doesn't do medicines!

Recommended to try this by greyhound-savvy vet & what a difference it’s made to our boy - he no longer seems to be in pain & is a much happier bouncier dog.

For what ever reason these meds didn't help my dogs pain/inflammation. He is back on Metacam and doing better. All dogs are different but for my dog these just didnt seem to work! Vet agreed to get him back on metacam.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Galliprant Tablets for Dogs, including answers from our team.
Claudette Porter
My dog weighs about 7kg max I have 20mg tabs. How much should I give her.
This is a prescription only medication so you should contact your prescribing vet regarding doseage.
According to the datasheet a 7kg dog will need one 20mg tablet once daily. It's very important you check this medication is suitable with your vet though.

What is the dosage?
The dose according to the datasheet is as follows:
Administer this veterinary medicinal product on an empty stomach (e.g. in the morning) and at least one hour before the next meal, once daily at a target dose of 2 mg per kg body weight.
It is a prescription only medication so you will need to contact your vet so they can write you a prescription to purchase it from our website. They will be able to advise on an appropriate doseage for your dog's weight/condition.

Hi my dog is on 1x 20mg tab galliprant per day could i give him 1.5 tab 30mg per day if i thought he needed extra pain relief he weighs 10kg .
Thanks
Galliprant has a set dose range within which it is safe to use. Increasing the dose is unlikely to have a greater effect but is quite likely to cause side effects. We strongly advise discussing any dose changes with your vet and not going outside of their recommended dose range unless advised.
If you feel your dog is in pain even on Galliprant then further treatment options can be added alongside this. it is worth discussing these with your vet.

Can you buy more than one months worth of medication on one prescription from the vet?
Hello,
Thank you for your question,
We can supply up to as many as your vets put on your prescription. So if you have for example 100 to be supplied you can purchase them all in one go if you wish.
We can not supply more than your vet has prescribed and a prescription can be valid for up to 6 months,
Thank you,
