Our Frozen Day Old Chicks are a safe and popular option for feeding birds & reptiles, blast frozen to make them easy to separate and portion out to defrost as needed. They make a great addition to a whole prey diet as they provide high levels of protein, calcium and vitamins & minerals, but can also be particularly beneficial for animals in need of extra nutrition during growth & development, or recovery after illness or injury.
Our chicks only come from certified hatcheries, because healthy hens produce the best quality chicks for maximum nutritional value. From here, they are humanely euthanized and quickly frozen to preserve freshness.
