Well constructed. Good idea. I’ve adjusted the slot so feed falls through - layers pellets don’t fall freely through gap. My bigger older hens are using it ok but the slighter more nervous are not as when they step on/off platform it makes a clunk. It needs to be on flat surface so mine is on a paving slab but am still having to weight it down some 2 or 3 weeks later. My daughter’s hens are very happy with theirs so patience it is.
