Equimins Serenity Ultra Calm is a new formulation now includes a very digestible form of Calcium, adding to its already formidable reputation. Seems to be working alongside some groundwork for gentle reminders of manners but does seem to have taken the fizz away

Tried for 2 and a half weeks on my 12 year old cob gelding who is a very anxious boy and often acts out as 'bolshy' behaviour when uptight. The transition to the winter routine is normally a very stressful time for him, but after adding this to his feed daily there is a massive positive difference. He is very content and settled in his stable now, whereas he would normally be extremely unsettled and even at times rear at his stable door, since this addition to his feed he has not done this once which is fantastic. Would highly recommend.

I have a stallion Shetland who took a dislike to the farrier after 2 weeks having Equimins serenity calming product I did not need vet to sedate stallion to have his feet trimmed stallion stood quiet Brilliant product

Used to re-train and socialise a 15.2 heavy cob 9 yr old mare with severe behavioural issues due to previous poor handling who would pose a risk to people on ground or would shut down , with excessive trembling and collapse. She has been turned away with an older calm companion with frequent visits by humans for contact and has had the addition of serenity calmer to her feed at a loading dose for two weeks with maintenance dose for now approx a week. Superb results already. The calmer has definitely showed physical evidence of working after a week allowing soft contact with this mare at liberty. An amazing transformation! From experience, this time scale would have been impossible without the help of Serenity. Certainly one of the best calmers I have used with proven results and good science. Combined with good horsemanship and an understanding
of equine behaviour this is an excellent choice for anyone trying to help troubled or stressed horses. Well done Equimins!

Hi, I already add echinacea to my ISH’s feed but am also considering using Serenity to help me to settle him. He gets quite worked up if taken away from his field mates & has taken to rearing when we get any distance away from them. I’ve had his saddle fitted correctly & can ride within eyesight of the others without problems.
A. Do you think this is worth trying & B. Can I mix it in with the echinacea?

It is definitely worth a try. Magnesium based calmers have more of an effect on some horses than others so no guarantees it would be sufficient but on the other hand it may be. Don't expect an immediate effect as in my experience it takes a few days to have full effect. Having the L-tryptophan and calcium does seem to enhance the calming effect over the magensium only based calmers.
