Bovigen®Scour is a one shot vaccine for the immunisation of pregnant cows and heifers to raise antibodies against the most common causes of calf scour.
When calves are fed colostrum from vaccinated cows during the first week of life, these antibodies have been shown to reduce the severity of diarrhoea caused by bovine rotavirus, coronavirus and E.coli F5 (K99) and reduce shedding of the virus by calves that may have been infected.
